Ingredients

½ cup low-sodium soy sauce

¼ cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons gochujang (Korean chili paste)

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated

1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil

1 tablespoon rice vinegar

1 tablespoon honey or mirin (optional)

1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional garnish)
Instructions

Heat sesame oil in a small saucepan over medium heat.

Add garlic and ginger; sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Stir in soy sauce, brown sugar, gochujang, and rice vinegar.
